The sentry comes to tell the new knig that someone has burried Polyneices against his orders. The sentry receives the threat of punishment that he fully expected.
The sentry returns the nest day with Antigone who was caught covering Polyneices' body. Creon questions Antigone about disobeying his orders.
Antigone defends herself, but does not apologize for her actions. Haemon confronts his father, Creon, about his decision for Antigone.
They argue, but Haemon does not yeild to his father. Antigone says her fate is determined by Creon who she knows will not change his mind.
Teiresias, blind, enters lead by a boy. Creon does not trust the blind man who sees the truth, but he will listen anyway.
